Horrible Experience

Stay away! I was drawn in by a sale and the furniture was inexpensive. I purchased bed & dresser. The sales associate didn't know math. I was to have 15% taken off because of the sale. I had to show her how to take the % off correctly. She then had to call a mgr to confirm that I was telling her correct. What should have been a 20 min encounter turned into an hour. I placed the set on layaway. Came back a week later to pay on the set. Their system you have to look up by name, previous girl spelled name wrong. How hard is it to spell Paris?! After my name was found she tried to correct it and deleted my info. Another 20 min encounter turned to an hour. I left without being able to pay. No one apologized, or compensated me for my time. Came back 3rd time to pay again. This time her card swipe wasn't working. I suggested to type the number in. They have a policy were they cannot do that. OMG! At this time I want a refund. Ha their refund policy is a joke, and another story. After 30 minutes she got this mgr who is never there on the phone to approve her to type the card in. Ridiculous! My 4th and last encounter, I pay the balance, the girl ran my card 3 times and wanted to run a fourth before I told her no. My bank was pending double the final payment. A day before pick up they call and say payment didn't go through. I checked and the payments were no longer pending, now I take more time and gas out of my life to redo a payment that they flubbed. I paid cash this time. Finally pick up furniture bring home its damaged!!! I called the owner Martin. This *** bag blamed us for the damage! My husband is in the moving industry NO way we damaged. He charged us additional $50 to deliver a new one. Save yourself the headache

LAYAWAY IS NOT LAYAWAY THEY ORDER THINGS 2 WEEKS BEFORE YOU ARE DONE PAYING, PROBLEM IS THAT SOME STUFF GET DISCONTINUED WITHIN THOSE 6 MONTHS SO THEY LOOK FOR SIMILAR REPLACEMENTS IF NOT THEY INFORM YOU OF THE PROBLEM BUT YOU CANT CANCEL, YOU CANT GET A REFUND. YOU HAVE TO PRESS ON ALOT BEFORE THEY DO BUT THEY WONT CALL YOU YOU HAVE TO DO THAT. THEY SELL YOU DISPLAY ITEMS WITHOUT YOU KNOWING STUFF IS HANDLED BY PEOPLE WHO NEVER LIFTED FURNITURE IN THEIR LIFES. THE FINANCING IS A JOKE BECAUSE YOU PAY MORE THEN WHAT ITS REALLY WORTH ITS BETTER TO BUY IN CASH, INSTALL IT IT YOUR SELF. TAKE PICTURES ONCE YOU OPEN THE BOX TO DOCUMENT.

My wife and i bought a bedroom set from the lewisville store and when it came the dresser was crooked and the drawers were broken so we called for a replacement and got it but the new one fell over and almost crushed our 11 month old daughter and they refuse to give a refund or even return our calls. Purchasrd a bed.said she was sending me a new one fro warehouse.lied to my face. Said i was financing $1000, added almost another 200,making bill over 1300.scrtches on furniture,.deceptive practices. Donot buy from this place..underhanded practices.donot trust this place at all.jessica / salesgirl dishonest/ slick/ underhanded.

Sold me display and it was poorly put together said it was ordered, stuffing coming out

This store is a scam and rip off,they sold me a product that was falling apart and stuffing coming out,when asked to exchanged they wanted to give me the same piece of ***. I wanted to cancel but they they tried to force me to keep it,I asked to return it the very second they delivered it. I've filed a complaint with the attorney general, and will now contact my attorney. The owner does shady business bait and switch. They won't contact you when you call about a problem.they told me they were ordering new from the what're house and actually gave me pieces off the floor display, I only found out when I went back to the store to check on something.

My girlfriend and I purchased a beautiful white leather sofa from this company at another Dallas location (no longer there) and because we had such a good experience there with the awesome rep that we wanted to come back to this company so we went to their Farmers Branch location. There we was assisted by a rep name Jessica who is completely worthless, unfriendly or professional.

We found a bed that we liked and while filling out paperwork, she and another coworker gossiped non stop. She was not attentive and had a dazed looked about her that I couldn't trust. We received the bed the next day as expected, BUT it was completely dirty, as if it had been dragged through the ground without covers or protective plastic wrap. Even worst, the bed had massive water damage that looked like dried *** We called the store immediately to let them know the condition of their supposed new bed, but come to find out that this was a DISPLAY model that she never bothered to tell us!

They agreed to discount our bed for $75 and we patiently waited for an entire month (not exaggerating) while having to call them several times to see progress on the check that we were expecting in mail. Each call was basically, "yeah we sent the check out..." meanwhile I'm checking or mailbox everyday. Never got the check in mail nor any correspondence on their end at all! So *** aggravating dealing this store and the *** *** Jessica.

Today, when we (not them) called to find out what's going again, now she is saying that the money is credited on our account.. called the financing company they use and they say there is no credit! At this point, we got in contact from someone from the financing department name Gabby and finally got some clear answers. Needless to say, our experience here was complete ***!

Never are we coming back to Cancun Market again!

The inconvenience is not worth their fairly priced merchandise. Worst service I've received in my life.

Sell me a lemon mattress for 900 dollars

I bought a mattress from Cancun Market in Grapevine mills mall for almost 900 dollars which not even 3 months after i bought it started sinking in the middle. i shifted the mattress numerous times and nothing seem to fix this problem. i contacted them and file a complaint requesting for help. they have ask me for pictures, bar code, i explained them that mattress did not had a bar code when i took it from bag and i proceed to take picture. they denied my claim as my mattress has no bar code and because in one of the pictures i sent it seems that mattress has a small stain. i explained that mattress has no stains so now they want me to take the mattress over to their warehouse which weights around 500 pounds or i need to pay a technician to come to my home and inspect the mattress this for 120 dollars only. i explained that i have an herniated disc and my friends that helped me out to pick up the mattress from the warehouse no longer in Texas and they gave no more options. It seems they going to keep on giving me the run around and this is frustrating as im not even sleeping on the mattress as it is because is uncomfortable. i need help!!

I put over 1000 dollars in layway for a king size bedroom set. I was laid off work & was told they could only refund 1/2 of my money which is a joke & ripe off.

Now I would like to use my 500.00 credit, I called 3 times and was told the account is locked they emailed the owner Martin and still no response.

So not only did they take my money that I worked hard for they want return any phone calls or money. I will contact the correct agencies for scamming consumers!

Because we at Cancun Market kindly insisted to our vendor that as a favor that our vendor approve the warranty and exchange, they obliged and are now going to exchange it. Out of over 700 mattresses sold only 3 have had complaints including this one. Not to mention that it is actually an $1400+ mattress.

We go great lengths to satisfy our customers including on this very "unusual" situation.

Originally the mattress manufacturer, as would any mattress manufacturer, voided the warranty due to all 3 of the following reasons:

#1) The Mattress was not resting on a standard box springs but instead on futon style tubing platform which is by no means a standard foundation or box spring.

#2)Stain on the mattress on photos sent (which later turned out to be only on the photos sent to us but not on the actual mattress)

#3)Barcode label missing.

To make matters worse, the mattress is in Denton and our stores are in Dallas so there should have been a fee -WHICH WAS WAIVED- just to go inspect the mattress. As a matter of fact, we even arranged for the rep to drive all the way to Denton to inspect it and finally approve the exchange.

Like I mentioned at the begining, we strive to serve and serve we do.

Cancun Market Steals your money

I purchased a sectional sofa from Cancun Market back in February and was told it would take 7-10 days to receive my sofa that I paid for in cash, however 2 1/2 months later after many calls and complaints to them I received a sofa set,but not the one I ordered and paid for. I called the owner, he offered me a partial refund and assured me that he would get the other piece of my sofa in and to me quickly. Well here it is 5 months after the date I originally purchased the sofa and I still don't have my full sofa that I paid for. I understand that this sofa would have cost me alot more at another store, however anther store would have had my sofa to me in an adequate amount of time. I now have contacted a lawyer and will let him advise as to what to do next.
